Terms of use

The service

Bestex is a gateway to AI models run by third-party providers. You pick a grade; we route your request and bill you according to that grade. Which models were tried, and what each cost, is returned with every response.

Credits

• Credits are a grant of access to the product. 1 CREDIT is $1 of usage.
• Credits are not an investment, carry no expectation of profit, and give no ownership, revenue share or voting rights.
• Credits cannot be redeemed for cash. Activated credits become API balance and are not refundable, except where the law requires it.
• Unactivated on-chain CREDIT can be transferred or sold to another user on the order book. The price there is set by users, not by us.

Billing and refunds

• You are never charged more than the list price of the model you named.
• A request that errors, times out, or returns nothing is not charged.
• Credits are bought with USDG from your wallet: 1 USDG for $1 of credit, with no purchase fee.
• Apps you connect through Sign in with Bestex may add their own fee. It is shown on the consent screen before you approve.

Staking and Half

• Half pricing (Grade) is limited to a set number of requests a day for accounts that do not stake; stakers have no limit. Running the exact model at half price is capped by the Execution Vault: when the vault cannot cover it, a matched model answers, or where none exists the request is billed at the Exact price and the response says so.
• Tiers are set by the USD value of staked $BESTEX. Your tier is priced when you stake and holds while the position stays staked; a withdrawal re-prices what remains.
• There is no lock: staked tokens can be withdrawn any time after the first 30 minutes. Rewards follow time staked: a rebate is scaled by the part of the day you were staked and is not paid once you have unstaked. Rebates are paid from the vault and are scaled down if claims exceed it.
• $BESTEX is a token with a volatile price. It can lose all of its value. Nothing on this site is financial advice.

Acceptable use

Do not use Bestex to break the law, to harm others, or to violate the usage policies of the model providers your requests are routed to. We may suspend keys that do.

No warranty

Model output can be wrong. A Grade request is served by the model you name while the vault can fund the difference, and otherwise by a model matched to it, which may not be that exact model; requests without Grade, and Batch jobs, always run on the model you name. The service is provided as is, and the smart contracts are unaudited unless stated otherwise.
